Some Covid tales are not being heard. Let’s be silent and listen.

An open invitation to share this time of emerging from lockdown together in intentional guided quiet. A shared experience of deep reflection, connection, care and community as the globe turns. A mix of activity and rest as the sun rises and sets wherever we are. An opportunity to listen to those who feel unheard, invisible, uncared for. in the silence we say … “We hear you, We care, We are here, You are not alone”.

All are welcome. In support of Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) listening and tending to people crying out for care around the globe.

Marrying the practices of the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) 8-Week Programme and ancient Judaeo/Christian Contemplative practices this retreat is designed for anyone looking to reduce the impact of fear, stress and anxiety on their lives and increase their access to enduring peace of mind, lightness of heart and deep inner freedom. 

The first of a series of MEETING GOD MINDFULLY, 4 seasonal retreats - AWAKENING BREATH can also be done as a standalone day of rest and renewal for those who wish.

Those who participate in the series will receive an MBSR certificate of completion allowing them to do further Mindfulness training if they choose.

The Bamboo Loft MBSR Programme

8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program

When: 12th of February - 2nd April. 2015  (Includes a day long meditation retreat on Sunday12th of April)

WEEKLY  Thursday Nights -  7.30pm to 10pm 

Location: The Bamboo Loft @Glenhordial Permaculture Farm, Omagh.

The 8 week classes are conducted and led by mindfulness teacher Maria Garvey trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction through the European Institute for Mindfulness Approaches (IMA) which applies the pioneering mindfulness approach of John Kabat-Zinn. The mindful movement aspects of the course will be lead by experienced yoga teacher Marella Fyffe
